Other than that, though, tattoo shopping isn't the time to bargain shop. They're called "flash sales" and you pick a pre-drawn design for a discounted price. That being said, some parlors do totally legit tattoo sales for holidays, like Halloween or Friday the 13th (I've even seen some for Harry Potter's birthday). I got it done with and it was a really good experience overall!! since it was a pretty small tattoo, it was a really fast process. she literally took cling wrap, drew the design on it, stuck it on me and made sure i knew exactly what size i wanted it to be (she wanted it to be as small as possible LOLLL) but honestly its a p good idea if u wanna try to envision your design & placement I consulted my mom and she MADE me test the idea out before going for my appointment lol. ofc i got it in red ink bcos… love… duh… LOL but also i really really love red ink tattoos and from what I’ve seen they don’t fade ugly like some black ink tatts do! my placement was above my elbow – when i was doing my research i saw soo many tatts in this placement and i love it sm i want another tattoo in the same placement on the other arm HAHA The design i chose was ‘爱‘ which means Love in chinese~ (i got it in 繁体字) i was considering different fonts that i wanted it in, but ended up settling with the traditional chinese font bcos i know i won’t get sick of it and honestly i just love how minimalistic and simple it looks. i guess it acted as a celebratory tattoo to graduating & soon moving on to the next chapter of my life :) i got this tattoo late last year, the week after i finished my final examination. however, I’ve been thinking about this design for many months and decided to go for it hehe. AHHHH!!! tattoos have always been a scary idea to me bcos I’m soo indecisive and I’m scared that i’ll get sick of the design in the future.
